Creamy Garlic Noodles

INGREDIENTS

2 tsp. olive oil

6 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp. butter

¼ tsp. salt

½ tsp. pepper

3 cups chicken stock

½ lb. angel hair pasta

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

¾ cup heavy cream

1 tbsp. dried parsley

1 (12 oz.) package frozen broccoli










Temperature: Medium-low


Time: 25 min


Servings: 6












Recipe

  1. Steam broccoli, until cooked, but still crunchy. Set aside to cool.

  2. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-low heat.

  3. Add the garlic and stir, allowing it to cook for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Add the butter; cook until melted.

  5. Add the salt, pepper and chicken stock.

  6. Turn the heat up to high and let come to a boil.

  7. Add the pasta and cook for 4-5 minutes.

  8. Once pasta is tender, reduce the heat to medium.

  9. Dice the steamed broccoli, add to the pot.

  10. Stir in the Parmesan, cream, and parsley until cheese is completely melted.

  11. Remove from heat and serve.
